The ‘Precinct Plan’ for Parkmore is approved by the City of Johannesburg, and is included in the 2010-2011 RSDF Regional Spatial Development Framework document. It defines the zone/land use of each and every Erf/stand in Parkmore. Any applications for rezoning are adjudicated in terms of this document. The applications to rezoning 7 properties to Student Housing were rejected against the Precinct Plan in May 2010.
